Bellwood provides a pre-kindergarten program (K-Kids) which introduces the children to pre-reading and pre-math readiness skills using hands-on, multisensory, and age appropriate materials.
K-Kids prepares your child for a smooth transition to kindergarten, offering a balanced program of teacher-directed and child-directed activities designed to strengthen your child’s socialization skills, literacy skills, and understanding of number concepts. The curriculum encourages the development of problem-solving skills and creativity through active, hands-on experimentation. Children develop their abilities to make decisions, to follow directions, and to work independently.
